Borges at Allegheny College 1985: Archive of Digitized Materials

Permanent URI for this community

Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986), perhaps the most important Latin American literary figure of the twentieth century, visited the Allegheny College campus from June 25-29, 1985. Allegheny professors organized an interdisciplinary summer symposium and a series of events during the dates of Borges’ historic stay at the college. This collection of materials presents digitized versions of the audiovisual documents created at the event. Original documents are in the Merrick Archives in the Pelletier Library.
