Abstract

This project is a portrait of U.S. Route 322, specifically a portion spanning from Meadville to Clarion, Pennsylvania. I am exploring the geography that created a cultural landscape, capturing the road that winds through rivers and mountains and scenery that mirrors our past and present. This work is an invitation to viewers to create their own adventure and find and travel their own paths. To perhaps take the winding two-lane road instead of the highway, and let inspiration find them as it found me.
