Abstract
HR 5171 is a binary star made up of a Yellow Hyper Giant primary and a main sequence secondary star characterized by a large circumstellar medium. Observations indicate the system is eclipsing and causing fluctuations in the luminosity of the system. Simulations are performed to put constraints on the system to more accurately determine the masses of the system.
